| Life after graduation:updated 4.6.05 - I moved to Chelsea and worked for several years in Chelsea and Ann Arbor. While there I married my husband Chris in 1985. Our son, Jay was born in 1987. I finally decided to go to college and graduated with a BBA in 1994. After hitting the corporate world for a while I decided I wanted to be closer to home and our son and began working for Stockbridge Schools. I was there until 2002 then decided it was time to set my own schedule and became a substitute teacher for grades K-5. I now hang out with a lot of the kids of my old friends. In the summer of 1999 we went to Russia to adopt our daughters, Bailey & Karly who were born in 1995 & 1997. In 2001 we added our daughter Macy to our family. We are a happy and busy family. We LOVE to travel and so do our kids. |

| Classes/activities/memories: Updated 4.6.05 - I have a lot of specific memories and they all include being with my friends. I don't stay in touch with everyone I used to, but I certainly think about everyone and would love to hear from you. |
| Comments: Now that I work at Stockbridge Schools it is much more fun to think of the teachers as peers and actually hang out with them. They are a pretty fun group. |

Life after graduation: I'm married to a wonderful man, Ryan and
we have a Black Lab named HOOVER. (He was named
prior to knowing his likeness to a vacuum cleaner) We
live in Lansing for the time being. In a year or two we
will be building a house on my parents property on
Parman Road.
Ryan and I run two rental stores; Okemos and Grand Ledge. We rent medium sized construction equipment, mini- storage, portable toilets and bedsprings. (I guess you'll have to e-mail me to figure out the bedsprings.) After graduating I never thought I would be worrying about how clean a portable toilet was and now it is a major concern!!!!!! Prior to my rental business I was a police officer. Thirteen was my magic number. That number off years was enough for my taste. I initially enjoyed having ticket writing contests, car chases, wrestling with bad guys and a well put together case. But all good things must come to an end, or something like that. 1996 was a good year for me. I was awarded Officer of the Year in the Meridian Township Police Department. I was nominated for Women Police Officer in the State of Michigan. The honor went to a deserving Captain in the Detroit Police Department. I was honored just to be nominated. During that year I also became a firefighter. I believe the gear weighed more than I did and that is not a good combination. I put out a couple of fires, packed up some hoses, carried people from a burning building, etc. Too hot of a job for me, I sweat too much. I almost forgot I have two more siblings. I had the one adopted brother Tom, well he got married and had two sons. He abandoned them just as his mother abandoned and now I have a very young little brother. My parents adopted one of the boys and the other grandparents adopted the other. I also have a beautiful sister. Her name is Amanda. She is 15 years younger than I. I hope eventually I will have children but as of yet I haven't been blessed. |
