| Life after graduation: Make that 2 please!!! I've had my traveling life-seeing the country and being crazy, and am now living wonderfully settled, grown up (sorta) and married. Studied criminal justice at JCC after highschool for 2 years, then headed out west to Cali. Too busy out there, so I came back for a year and then moved to Texas and opened Kelly's Cafe with my dad on Surfside Island. Too slow of a pace down there so I came back to Michigan and went back to school. Finishing my last semster at EMU this spring and will student teach, secondary ed. in Jackson this coming fall. I work as an Intake & Referral Counselor at Foote Hospital Access Center for mental health and substance abuse as well as substitute teaching in Jackson- Social Studies/ Political Science. Two years ago I started my own Mary Kay business and do that in my spare time for play money. Married my best friend, Kevin Welch, last June 19th. Have two wonderful stepsons, Tyler 11 and Tanner 6, and care for m! y niece Megan 7. Oh,and cant forget my baby- Heidi; she's my 110lb. Rotty who thinks she's my real kid. I feel as if my life has come full circle- I have been blessed tremendously!!! |
| Classes/activities/memories: There are toooooo many fun, crazy, and sometimes sad times to recount them all. I use Mr. Brown's Hora/Brown School of thought for economics lessons and every time it makes me smile. Joan Spicer (Bastian), Jenny Love (Bliss) and I (The Tribe!!!)are still friends and talk frequently. Have lost touch with Jenna Corday so if anyone has any info on her I'd love to contact her. Also would love to talk with Joellen Patterson- I know she married but I dont know her new name. I will always remember b-ball and cheerleading- we had soooo much fun!!! |

| Life after graduation: Life after graduation: I attended Adrian College for four years. After graduating in 1994 I married my highschool sweetheart, Jason Allen. In 1995 we had our first child, Keana Jane. That same year I was hired as a first grade teacher at Smith Elementary in Stockbridge. Jason found a position in Adrian at Community Mental Health as a social worker. Jason and I built a house in Stockbridge in 1996 and we still reside there. This past Valentine's Day we had our second child, Ellie Katherine. I also just finished my Master's Degree. |

| Classes/activities/memories: I had so many wonderful teacher's in Stockbridge that I couldn't possibly mention them all. I will say that many of them made such an impact on my life that I decided to do the same for children. I love being a teacher and couldn't imagine doing anything else. |

| Life after graduation: Joined the USMC after high school and spent 4 great years in there. After that I have done a little bit of about everything and currently live in Ohio with one of my two sons. Got married in 96 and had two wonderful sons. Divorced in 03 and just got custody of my oldest son in 05. Is hard not having my youngest with me but life goes on and you do the best you can with what time you have. |

| Life after graduation: After HS went to MSU for 1 yr. then decided that I wasn't ready for all the responsibility. So I went to stay with my mom in KY, eventually I found myself at Fort Bragg NC where I'm employed as an aquatics assistant. I have been married once to someone in the air force, with whom I have 1 son who is 4yrs. |
| Memories: The two people who had the biggest impact on my life were Michelle Elmer, my best friend, who I haven't seen since 1991, and David Gorbe. They both taught how valuable friends really are. |

| Life after graduation: I started working right after graduation and have been in the Mortgage/Title Company buisness for 8 years. I have a wonderful husband and 2 great kids. Dalton is 7 and Reece is just 3 months old. I think being a mom to these boys is more wonderful than anything else I could have done with my life. We recently built a house on 10 acres in Fowlerville which happens to also be in a Subdivision and couldn't be better for raising 2 boys. My husband and I both work in Howell he as a General Manager for a safety equipment company and I a Closer/Bookeeper for a title company. |

| Life after graduation: Graduted early to join the US Military, went to several fun schools for thre of the five year in the military, visited nurmerous coutnries, not all pleasant, met a nice young lady from California while in Panama, which resulted in a awesome daughter Kylie who is 10. Aftering finishing my tour of duty, went to school, finally! Public Administration with emphasis in Public Safety. Now I work with another Govt Agency doing forgien affairs and security stabilization. Been to so many countries and had the benefit of seeing so many different cultures. Recently returned from just over three years in Afghanistan ( not recommended for your next vacation) I realized the other day I have spent most of my adult life after high school outside the US. I love my job, but miss the real world (i.e. cheeseburgers & fries) I now live in Myrtle Beach South Carolina where I have a Condo and Ranch. |

Life after graduation:I moved to California in January, 1993, and
married in July, 1994 to Joe Duncanson, my
high school sweetheart from Traverse City,
Michigan. We met in 1989 while members of the
Michigan Lions All-State band. We have a
daughter, Kristina, born in April, 1995 and a
son, Morgan, born in December, 1996. One thing
that has definitely changed for me since High
School is that the sax is buried in the closet
(but when I get time, there will be a
resurrection). I enjoy Computers, Photography
and Computer Graphics, designing and
maintaining websites, and keeping up with
family and friends from Michigan and elsewhere
on the internet. We enjoy traveling to
Monterey, San Francisco, the ocean, the
mountains (all are within 2 hrs away) and to
Michigan to visit family and friends when we
can. We just bought our first home in Sept
2001, and look forward to numerous renovation
projects. I turned 30 in Dec, 2001, and feel
very old! Where did the years go? Wasn't high
school just a year or two ago? UPDATED 7.2.05: As of June, 2005, we sold our Modesto, California home and purchased a home in Fruitport, Michigan, which is near Muskegon. We love our home and it is good to be back "home" in Michigan. 12½ years was a long time to live away, and now everything in Michigan feels very different. I feel like a stranger now. |
| Business information: Joe is a Computer Analyst/Programmer at Smart & Final, where he has been employed since 1990. He is in charge of 86 store systems, with his furthest store being at the Washington/Canadian border. We feel blessed that I am able to be a stay-at-home mom for the kids. I started studying computers and photography in January, 1993. It has became an obsession of mine. My Computer Graphics and Photography skills are improving all of the time, and I've done a few very successful photo shoots on the side. I plan to start working professionally once my youngest (now 5) is in school full time. |
| Classes/activities/memories: I must say that my all-time favorite classes, which will not shock anyone who knew me, were my music classes. I do miss music, and look forward to playing again. I also treasure my memories from the different All-State Bands I was in, and the competitions I participated in. |

| SHS teachers/students remembered: My favorite teacher, the one that had a large impact on my life, was Mr Larry Thompson, Band Director. I saw him on my trip to Michigan in May, 1998. He misses all from Stockbridge, and has a happy little family in Northern Michigan. I am still in occasional contact with Dawn [Libby] Gailey and have reconnected with Shane Platt. Shane and I have enjoyed catching up and sharing school memories. |

Life after graduation:I went on to do the college thing and also went through a pretty
messy divorce. I have had my ups and downs, but all in all I cannot
complain. I have 5 beautiful kids, Alex (8/21/92), Brittney Laine
(10/8/93) Jessica Lynn (11-24-94) and Paige Alison-Cristene (2-7-96), Andrew Jack (1-13-99)
I own my own 5 bedroom house and am now employed at The Newman Group
Computer Services in Dexter, MI. I have kept in touch with a few
people from school (I am still best friends with Dawn Libby (Gailey) who
also have 2 beautiful kids, my "6th" and "7th" kids!

SHS teachers/students remembered: My favorite teachers were Mr. Brown, Mr. Tucker,
and Mr. Holdwick.
All were very disciplined and actually cared if their students suceeded.
As an adult I now realize where they were coming from, and they're not that
nuts after all! My Fondest Memories from school are those with Dawn, Angel, and a few other select people. Of course, skipping was my favorite course! Hee Hee! Never got caught, although I drove Ms. Pilon nuts trying to catch me. |

| Life after graduation: Attended GMI/EMI in 1990 and graduated in 1995 with a BS in electrical engineering. I worked my way through college. I spent 3 years at an aerospace company in Lansing, and two years at UPS in Livonia . Worked in network and computer systems support in both jobs. Also founded JMC Technologies (computer technology company) with a business partner (Bill Justice) in 1993. I took a job with Ford Motor Company after graduation and worked in their central systems organization (FSIC). At the same time(1995), I bought a gourmet coffee shop in Northville, Michigan and turned it into a "cybercaffe" (www.cybercaffe.com) with gourmet coffee (Caffe' Bravo) and Internet access (Coffee Connections). In November, 1996 I married my college sweatheart, Melanie Wheeler, after a 4.5 year courtship. She works as a business analyst for Electronic Data Systems in Troy. In December of 1996, I sold the consulting company that I started in 1993 (JMC) to Quantum Controls, Inc in Plymouth MI (www.quantumone.com), and was hired by Quantum to run the resulting company, Quantum Solutions, Inc (www.qsolutions.com), in January 1997. The new company has partnerships with Netscape and Silicon Graphics, and specializes in Internet / Intranet technologies and large scale custom application development. Mel and I have 1 dog (Topper), and a phsyco cat (Fozzy) and we are expecting a baby in January 1998. |

| Classes/activities/memories: Still have fond memories of my favorite person at SHS, Debbie Overbey (thanks for all the hall passes, and the sly manner in which you helped to open small minds in a small town). Can still recall some of lectures of the now famous James "Hendrix" Brown, and the immortal groan of Tom Tucker around thesis time. I remember playing in the first football game ever on Boyd Memorial Field (and I also remember Bob Boyd). |

| Life after graduation: I stayed in the area for a year and then decided I was ready for college. I finished my bachelor’s degree at Taylor Univ. and then moved back to substitute teach for the school system. It was the best thing that I could have done, because I was able to experience the caring professional teachers in the schools. I loved subbing and everyone that I talked with said that if I enjoyed it so much I would love having my own classroom. I pursued a Masters in Teaching. Which I completed in 1 year… phew! |

| Comments: Did I mention that I actually used my teacher’s degree for 3 years before I "retired" from teaching to stay at home with my three lovely children?! I am the luckiest lady alive. My husband is an administrator in a downtown Detroit school - and I have the privilege of being the "chauffer of preschool" for Olivia, 4, the "Lego momma" for Simeon, 2, and the "diaper changer" for Sophie, 15 months! |

| Life after graduation: After i graduated, i went in the Navy Seabees, spent 5 yrs there, got out moved to chelsea mi. Had my first child in 1998 a boy, then i went into the electrical union (IBEW 252), got married in 2000 to a wonderful women from Clinton, we had a daughter in 2003, Did a Discovery Channel T.V. show called No Opportunity Wasted, went on the Oprah Winfrey show. My 10 minutes of fame are long gone, now i live in Saline with my wife and daughter |
| Classes/activities/memories: My favorite memories of HS evolved around wrestling. Joe Showerman was my greatest teacher, he taught me more about life in those 2 hour practices then any teacher with a PHD could teach me. Thanks Big Joe. i have great memories of those earlier saturday morning bus rides to tournaments fighting with Tim Baisden for his pillow so I could go to sleep. | Life after graduation: I volunteered in my ministry work for 3 years and worked part time in various places to support my volenteer work. In 1993, I met a wonderful guy from Rogers City, who became my husband in February of 1994. Nick and I began living in an apartment in Stockbridge, then, we rented a large home in town, until we decided to build our own. In 1998, we moved into our first home. How exciting! Ever since then, we have been working on different home improvment projects to keep us busy. My most recent achievement is starting my own business. In June, I became a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant. My goal is to be able to work part time and get paid for full time work. Currently, I do not have any children, but would like to some day. |

| Classes/activities/memories: I have three most memorable clases in SHS. Corts Child Care class with Laura Worden. We had such a good time with the kids in Smith Elementary. The next class I find unforgetable was Mrs. Jacobs Clerical Block class. Yvonne Silveus and I had a blast! Last but not least is Watson's Power Mechanics. I did well in the first semister when we rebuilt a lawn mower engine, with Jason McArthur (class 1991). I'm the kind of person, who doesn't mind getting dirty. I'm thankful for having Watson teach me how to maintain my car, since I didn't have a Dad to show me. |
